FUN FACT
Siraitia Grosvenorii, also known as monkfruit or luohan guo, is made into a herbal drink called lo-han-kuo that i happen to drink often as a child. It's used to treat cough, sputum, asthma, bronchitis, pharyngitis, obesity, acute gastritis, and constipation. In traditional Chinese medicine, luo han guo has been used as a pulmonary demulcent and emollient for the treatment of dry cough, sore throat, and extreme thirst. I usually drink it for coughs and sore throat most of the time.
